Florence frescoes
The youth from above

Still,angel youth on vaults' face
Joined hands,gay eyes,baby-faced,
Bowed heads downward look amazed,
Naively searching for some grace;

Eternal youth surpassing history,
For ages you gaze down at me
Enchanting my poor mortal eye,
Reminding it would never be divine.

My eyes sharply stare above,
Silent awe exhales my mouth,
I feel my spirit leave its shell,
Dispersing itself  uncompelled,
        While its concrete shape is left on earth:
        A timeless remembrance on a marble urn.
