A take on an over used idea.
She stood in the crowd of people, feeling mostly alone, and usually shaking. The addiction of having a partner in crime is overwhelming. To turn that person and tell them, "my foot hurts". Its oddly priceless, so she just whispers it to her self instead. These people are all fooling them selves in the end. So happy in love, She recalls that temporary euphoria. Now time has come, Brought along bitterness a little to soon. She wonders why she wasted so much time addicted to a feeling. Its not the person. it’s the emotion. So it will always end.
