A very short poem about a relationship I left.
Shooting Star

Look up at the stars ablaze -
Are they as bright without me?
Did you lose sight without me?
They all seem so far away
Since you're alright without me.

Gazing at the massive sky,
You quickly wished on me
And blew a kiss to me
A shooting star, I passed on by
And became a memory.

Shooting Star - Edited

Look up at the stars ablaze -
Are they as bright without me?
Did you lose sight without me?
They all seem so far away
Since you’re alright without me.

Gazing at the massive sky,
You quickly wished on me
And yearned that I could be
Your shooting star; I passed on by,
Fading to memory.
