How a dog might view man.
A DOG’S PERSPECTIVE

If I were a dog I would
Overhaul the language.
For too long man has enjoyed
An unfair advantage.

When a dog munches on a
Bone that is so tasty;
It would be called a hot-man,
No hot-dog it would be.

When a dog is hopeless and
Turns nasty as he can;
He won’t be son of a bitch,
But, son of a woman.

If a dog has bad luck when
He’s out on a foray;
No dog’s day it would be called,
It would be a man’s day.

When life is rather too hard
And full of too much strife,
It would be called a “Wretched
Man’s”, no “wretched dog’s” life.

And finally when life ends
In a manner ugly,
Why label it a dog’s death?
A man’s death it would be.
