the blind somethimes have the best sight
“Love is so colorfully beautiful,”
said the man with no sight,
“I saw it once,”
His smile gleamed with delight.

As he gazed off to one side,
he told his story to the other,
His face as bright as sunshine,
And his aura full of color.

He spoke of his turn with love,
like a blossoming flower,
built up to full bloom,
then withered to powder.

Even after his tale,
his smile still showed through,
So i had to ask,
“did she really leave you?”

He smiled even bigger,
and leaned me in real close,
the whispered so faint with
the voice of a ghost.

“She might have left me in this world,
with her voice no longer heard,
but inside she's always here with me.”
I smiled and believed every word.

As my smile grew stronger,
I had to give it to the man,
For he said every feeling I felt,
In a way I never can.
