He loved dinosaurs, all except one. Why was that?
Dinosaur Lover

My little boy, who's now full grown,
Thought dinosaurs were cool.
He wished he had one for his own,
And took plastic ones to school.

He talked about them hours on end,
Had their pictures on jammies and sheets.
He played with one (his invisible friend)
And ate dinosaur-shaped treats.

He could tell you the dinosaur names,
Like Brontosaurus and Diplodocus.
He included them in made-up games.
There were his early childhood focus.

But, there was a dinosaur he despised;
He'd punch every toy one he'd see.
It sang a song, and was undersized.
It was purple and starred on T.V.
