Deals with the basic life cycle with a twist of imagination.
I'm alive with joy
Not born a boy
Inside my mothers womb
I moved like a toy
Maybe a ball
Now I bounce all about
From the way I'm fed
I'm big and stout
Taller I grew
But unable to tie my shoe
As time went on I had so much to do
Like climbing a tree
And scraping my knee
Or riding my bike
Along with other things I liked
Sooner or later my face was a mess
Not like the time I ate ice cream
But what a real pest
My body developed from out of no where
The boys I grew up with began to stare
Later I dated and hung out at the mall
I can remember when guys would call
Sometimes broken hearted
Or even stressed out
I guess it was what life was all about
Marriage came along & children too
Soon they went off and the year was new
The older I got, the more I felt weak
I guess I was hitting that elderly peak
Now I can say that only time will tell
When I will be gone and have life passed on
Through...The Journey (life cycle)
