What happens to one poor innocent soul during a battle in the streets.
Sitting in my room
Staring at my walls
Shoots ring out in impending doom
Crashing, came down the halls

Down below my window
The fighting flares up
All I could do is follow
The sounds coming up

And through the riddled
Walls that loom over
Me. I feel so little
From under my bed, hover

Over my dog. Where
And when will the fighting stop
The out of nowhere
An explosion, a bomb dropped

On to my head
I feel like flying
But under my bed
I am dieing
