Can't really tell anyone why I wrote this. I was in a bad mood and this came out.
Don't Tell Anyone

Precious child so sweet and fair,
Her face surrounded by long blonde hair,
Her eyes glow like a shooting star.
Yet she looks surreal from afar.

Up close behind her golden hair,
Is a child that lives in constant fear.
Look in her eyes and you'll be surprised...
Her past and present should be recognized.

He tells her she's beautiful, but she thinks not,
She hates what he has done for so long.
Another day of pain, words to dread,
She tries to swallow the anger and sadness.

Her precious life is taken away,
Shattered by ones anger and hate.
She's so afraid to tell anyone...
For if she did; her father would be gone.

Precious child so sweet and fair,
Her face surrounded by long blonde hair,
Her eyes glow like a shooting star.
Too bad her soul's forever scarred.
