Helping a friend through troubled times
Left in the corners of solitude and depression
She waits for someone too save her.
A lover and a fighter,
For rich is too wonder
She knows shes alone

Time ticks in the essence of her life
She wonders if shes running out of time.
Waiting with no response
She looses her hope piece by piece
and is left with nothing.

I stare into the depths of her eyes
I want her too understand
No creature, even a man
Could save her, she is the one
That must conquer her own battles.

But she will not see it this way
No matter how much I try
So I hang my head in shame
I failed another life.

For I have been in these paths of darkness
Lurked in the shadow of doom
Only to find we are the magnet of weakness
The strength is in us with truth.

I have crossed the line of the meak.
I wait, for her, on the other side of the line.
