A person is very emotionally overwhelmed, depressed and cuts as a coping mechanism.
An untrusting chair wobbles, timid beneath me.
Poisonous fingers
Clench
blood red handles.
An arm grazes over the cold, rough desk.
A contaminated mess closes around me.
Empty strength forces the merciless scissors blade deeper into my unworthy skin.
Unforgiving and Harsh, a lamp’s wispy beam stumbles over the invisible pain.
I am sinking into an
Abyss.
