Saving yourself for your future husband, encouragement for those who are.
The Wait

You said singleness is a gift
That it teaches me to rely on you
But I can’t disguise this lonely ache
That seems to contradict the truth

I do want to be kissed
I do want to be held
To hear someone say
“I love you more than I can tell.”

And yes, the wait is hard
As I watch others compromise
But with every piece of their hearts they give
Goes another piece of their lives

But you said that you would fill that void
Satisfying it, like only you can,
Saying, “I will never make you stand alone,
Yes, I will take your hand.”
