this is a poem my mother wrote. it is a lesson we should learn.
War and Peace.

I once had a dream
Where I saw bombs fly.
I saw people run
I saw people die.

I saw people hiding
Waiting for bombs to cease.
I saw all this done
In the name of peace.

I closed my eyes and prayed
To every god I knew.
Hoping in my heart
That they would somehow come true.

I opened my eyes,
Fell to my knees and cried.
I cried for everyone,
For everyone had died.

When nothing is left,
In the sky or on land,
Will it really matter
Who was once in command?

As I looked out,
O'er the barren land of stone.
When will we learn? I asked,
To leave each other alone?
