We are merely passers-by, passengers towards a destination.
PASSER-BY

I am just a passer-by,
Passing for a moment.
I do not claim in this world,
A title permanent.

Many have come before me,
And, shown themselves and gone.
For a brief moment they, too,
Have their own trumpets blown.

Life is ephemeral, but,
We often cling to it.
Of attachment to the world,
We must give up habit.

Why carry this baggage, why
Harbor earthly desire?
Why don't in front of the Lord
We don a new attire?
