This is about my dad...
You are my phantom of memory
Traveling through time in hiding
Wearing your dark hood of shame.

You are the shadowy figure
Who sent me out of your life
And banished me to exile
In an icy city made of rust
Where only mom consoled my tears.

I was six when I saw you last
Your lies disguised in colorful gifts
While your smiles were an evil charade.

I was too naive to notice.

If we shall ever meet again, father
I will turn my back and
Abandon you
Just like you did to me...
