I owe Deb an apology...
Deb, I don't know what to say.
In my need I turned to you
and I got in your life's way.
This I didn't want to do.

Friends like you are just so few
but I brought pain to your life.
I needed your point of view,
my soul was sliced by the knife.

I'm sorry Deb, so sad.
I don't know why I called you
but you helped, of that I'm glad.
What I needed you just knew.

You helped me clear my sick mind
and brought me through my relapse.
Blind, relief I had to find,
life was about to collapse.

He is a fortunate man,
your love for him is so deep.
Great happiness in your plan,
on you, best wishes I heap.

My problems follow me still
but you helped to make me strong.
So thoughtful and with great skill,
your advice was never wrong.

You tell me things are all right,
calling before surgery.
Deb, I'm thanking you tonight,
this sorry, not perjury.
