This is a troublesome time my friend is going through and I dedicate this to her.
I laugh, I cry, I hide my hidden sorrows,
Thinking of you with her brings down my hearts,
Soul is still attached and my mind is yet not fine,
I wish I had you not some vacant memories,
Seeing you with her rips my heart out,
Watching you touch her is like a slap in the face,
Seeing you love her is like a slap in the face,
Wanting you to throw her away like you did me,
I wish you could see that you left without me,
You forgot what we had and that just cannot be,
Two hearts so joined not entwined like you and her,
She isn't for you and if she was that's just absurd,
Seeing you hold her hand brings tears to my eyes,
When you kiss her it's like lightning strikes twice,
You so grand and bold when you loved me,
Now you are the epitome of what you wouldn't be,
Guess again my love I'm still true,
Trying to get you back is what I'll do,
For better or for worse or till death do us part,
That's the rhyme I want not in disguise,
A four letter word that rhymes with dove,
No, not shove that word is love,
Take me, please take me to be the one you keep,
Not just some girl like she is to me.
