Micro-Fiction of just 60 words...
Life in Aqua

He swims alone, golden scales flashing in the dying afternoon sun. His world is somewhat circular. Round and round he goes; yet something is new, different.

All at once, he sees her: tall, beautiful, unmoving. He loves her immediately. A one-sided courtship - the stone mermaid remains stoic in the face of undying love.

Deterred for now, the goldfish swims on.
