This is my stuggle between wanting to go back to bed and needing to start the day.
This warm bed calls, but the suns creeping over the hill. You slowly, sleepily wrap your arm around me, begging for five more minutes rest.

After your eyes have closed again and your breathing slowed; I push the covers off my body and climb out of the comfort of the bed. You hardly stir but to reach for more covers.

The house is dark and the cold wood floors send shivers up my body. I turn on the heat, but I miss the bed with you.

In the dark of the morning I dress and make myself mildly presentable. Ever few minutes I check in on you.

Finally, you win. I crawl back into bed for the final while before the sun fully rises and we must begin our day.
