a poem of a broken heart, trying to regain it's dignity
How can I manage to live?
If your heart does not sing my melody?
How could I open myself to you...
If you leave me here in melancholy

How could I jive with your music?
If your beat is too fast,
Perhaps, just say it in my face
That this love will never last.

You took my dignity
In my most vulnerable place
You’ve taken everything,
And now you’re asking for space

How can I be blinder than before?
Seeking you love and caring for you more
While you shred every thing from me,
I’m still here waiting patiently

Return my song
Don’t ever sing my melody
Give back my steps
And everything you owe me

I shall sing alone
Like a chorus with a voice
I shall dance my own
I’ll step by my choice

From now on it’s only me
And this unending melody
Although it might not be rhyme,
I’m singing alone this time.

Watch me make the best moves you’ll see
Drool over my graceful body
Look at the things that you’ve been missing
Stare on this, because that’s all you’re getting

Today it’ll just be myself and I
From now on I will never cry,
You should have bid your sweet goodbye
Coz soon enough, this love will die

If you could have only felt, my love for you
This wish might be, granted and true
But God may have better plans
Coz now you’ll never catch my glance

Goodbye my love, it’ll be hard for me,
I’ve yearned for you desperately
But it seems you never felt this romance
By now you should know that you’ve blown your chance

I still do love you,
Forever it’ll be
It’s just that, for now,
I have to love me.
