Daily Activity June 13
Hark!
Mothers, hear my plea!
Deep in this dark,
Hidden in the shadows of trees,
Do not let your babes wander!

Hark!
Mothers, heed my warning!
It lurks!
It hungers!
Your young titilate It's senses!

Hark!
Fathers, take not up your spears!
Weapons are a match, not for It!
Stray not from the light of your fires,
Light is It's only bane!

Hark!
Children, fear!
It will eat you,
Savor your insides,
Drink you down,
Leave not your mother's side.

Hark!
Warrior, lost in the dark.
Your courage and your might cannot save you,
Ravaged and broken,
It lets you live,
Follows your trail home.

Bodies strewn,
Bleeding and torn,
A shrieking wail sings to It's ears.
The last of the feast,
It leaves behind, too full and sated even for desert.

Heed the warning,
Or this will be your village!
