Wrote this song after listening to a pastor from Salvador speak about life in his country
When you buy those jeans
I hope they look real fine
You never think about them more than
Lord, how they shine.

Forgive us Father
We know not what we do
The many people that die and starve
To bring those jeans to few
If we only knew
Are hearts would truly change
People wouldn't have to kill themselves
Just to stop the rain

When you drive that car
I hope you like the feel
You can drive around all day
Just, to watch the scenery peel

Father forgive us
We know not what we do
The birds and the fish that die
Just to change the view
If we only knew
Our hearts would truly change
We don't have to ruin the Earth
Just to entertain

When you’re getting high
I hope you’re having fun
You never think about anything
Your to busy getting numb

Father forgive us
We know not what we do
People are killing each other
In the name of me and You
If we only knew
Our hearts would truly change
People wouldn't have to numb themselves
Just to stop the pain

Father forgive us
Father forgive us

Father forgive us
Father forgive us

We know not what we do
