poem about how friendship doesn't always last forever.
It hurts to be forgotten,
Left in the dark
Hoping for a new dawn
But knowing  you’ll never again
see the light.

Feeling like you’ve been thrown
to the side
Forgotten, replaced
No longer wanted
By the person who promised
To always care.

The pain will always lives
In your heart
Destroying who you are.

The person who once cured
Every self conscience doubt
And ended your party of self pity
Is now the very cause of them.

Wondering now,
that you’ve lost the person
You always thought
You’d be able to trust,
Who do you turn to?

Feeling broken and alone
Because the people
You’ve considered
The most important in your life,
Always abandon you
And all you can wonder is
What’s wrong with you?

Knowing that now
Your friendship is scarred
Like a crack
Across glass
It can’t be healed,
It can’t be fixed.

Desperately trying to repair
What is broken
But what is scarred
Stays scarred
and will forever continue
To be marred

And nothing can heal
When trapped within
The depressing dark
And knowing full well
That they’ve let go
Of their last chance
Of Light.

Begging for the safety
Of routine friendship to return
But what’s forgotten
Remains forgotten
And that routine friendship
Just won’t ever return.
