Physicaly seperated from the people who mean the most to you.
Far from the place I call my home.
A baby wails.
I’m all alone.

Far from the ones that I hold close.
The parents’ battle.
despair approach.

Far from any who offer a gentle touch.
Not by my choice.
A stuffie I clutch.

Far and distant from my place.
Can’t be stopped.
A tear caresses my face.

I once was a wanderer.
No place to miss.
And perhaps more important.
No one to kiss.

But now I’ve shed roots.
And now I’ve found love.
Going back home,
A gift from above.

I miss my family,
I miss every friend,
And my love,
I want this to end.

Cut connections,
Or never stray.
This is a sample of,
What I’ll face some day.

The world is big.
And home is safe.
To leave to adventure.
Tears in my wake.

Maybe I can make this work.
Perhaps a compromise can be made.
If he would be with me,
I’d not be so afraid.
