Turning the table when you have gathered your strength to tell them NO!
The darkness has come
For you have fallen
It creeps from every corner
Slowly approaching its next victim

I stand and watch
Your eyes are cold and empty
A single tear rolls down your face
I have broken you down

You fall into a heap on the floor
Looking like a child who has been scorned
Covering your face with your hands
Trying to hide the pain

I was once there
The place called loneliness
That is where you left me
But now you are here

Now my heart is free
To enjoy life and find new love
Something I deserve after the pain of your cruel game
The game you called love.
