Just thoughts, when you get lonely at times.

Alone and afraid
under the gentle blue sky

She sits and wonders
and softly cries

What has happened
to make a life full of grief

As she slowly bends down
to pick up a leaf

She looks to the heavens
with questions in her eyes

And wishes to herself
she could forget all the lies

With a look of yearning
she looks towards the sky

Still she asked the questions
and wonders why
