You are the path you choose.
All that I left behind
Has made me who I am
All the good times and the bad
Have made me a stronger man
The friends I cherish
And the names I forget
All add to the treasury of my past
And mark the trail I’ve left
The wrong turns and detours
Were the only way to get to here
If it had been any easier I wouldn’t be who I am
And being someone else is my truest fear
