I've met some difficulty in letting go of some things.

broken record
replaying the same
awkward fragment of a
musical phrase

and it doesn't loop on
the starting beat and it's
driving me insane because i'm
friggin' sick of listening to it

take a drill to my ear drums
take a rusty scalpel to my heart
anything to make this fucking song
