Differences in my life from the past and where I'm at today.
Tomorrow used to be an afterthought.
After all...
How was I going to make it through today?

I waited by the telephone
Night after night
Waiting for your phone call.
Missing the sound of your voice...
Even though you were a million miles away.

Love meant nothing if it wasn't your love...
A kiss wouldn't be as sweet...
Without the touch of your lips.
I could never look myself in the mirror,
If you weren't there to stand beside me.

Though...
Love does go on.

I struggled,
I begged...
Pleaded...
And wished for you to come back to me.

But you didn't...

Thank you.

Thank you for your cowardice.
Because now I have found love that knows no end.

A love built on trust,
Built on a passion to love no one else...

Her kisses are sweet..
Her eyes as beautiful as the earth God lay before us.
Her every touch leaves me breathless...

Thank you for your selfishness...
For now I love someone more than I ever loved you...
Your love means nothing...
And now is just a faded memory...

So in the morning...
When I wake up,
And look into my lover's eyes...
I only see her,
And love her...
And could care less about you.

I can look in the mirror
And see myself again.
Happier than ever before...

I can hold my head high...
And know that for the first time in my life...

I am truly happy.
