You know the saying, when you cry real tears, people laugh
Laughter rings loudly into my ears
Thirty years housebound invites sneers
Writing poetry is a shut-in pastime
An alibi as I await a life in the meantime
Television invites wild vivid imagination
hopeful creativity is a precedent foundation
Style is yet apart this sedentary development
To linger and lager flourishes in lament
Days turn into blissful doom
Wonder if I will ever get out of this room
