Title speaks for itself.
When you need a shoulder to cry on,
I am always here
but somehow
when it's my turn to cry
you always disappear.
I can always tell
when you need
a hug,
encouragement
or a friend.
I always know
how to lift you up,
make you smile or laugh
If that's what you need.
I am your protection,
you shield
But you never seem to notice,
when I am in the one in need.
You unload all your troubles on me
and expect me to take them all away
But you throw my advice to the wind
and befriend the poeple
who only add to my misery
So tell me now why?
What did I do to deserve this pain,
this broken friendship?
You can't answer me can you?
So I will fake a smile,
act like it's all ok,
pretend I dont need anyone to care,
to be there for me,
to love me.
I will tell you again,
even if you manage to disappear
when it's my turn to cry,
If you need a shoulder to cry on
I will always be here.
