On the Seventh Day, the Lord threw a party and made a toast!
The Seventh Day

The Lord did not lay around
lounging
on the last day—
having made his amazing
proclamations such as
let there be light
and the like—

rather,

He throws a wonderful party,
calling all
angels
and natural forces
to join him
over where the sun is born—

and laughing,
                   
                he makes a toast:

“To every cause,
an effect,
and a pattern that connects.

To life—
death—

and to time—
a tick.”
