just read it if you like, there's no deciphering the mess of it all.
the room's lit up-
garish fluorescence.

here comes your lady
artfully still amongst
girls so slim.

smooth auburn hair
falling down a
moonlight back.

deep in his eyes
traces of days long since past.

flinches and sighs
back to the earth.

crashing down
taking inches
never miles.

churning with mediocrity
burbling with genius
both at once.

step outside awhile
stare at concrete walls
no way to collapse
the invisible lung.
