army commander realises family members r spies.so painfully sacrifices their lives n his
There were many a fight,
But none as wrathful as this,
There were many a sight,
But none as gory as this.

The leader was a man of stature,
Who commanded undue respect,
Of all the deaths of a major,
This- had an effect most felt.

The soldiers were all livid,
When the night was at its peak,
They all hath known what he hath planned to do,
When at last he struggled and spake.

"Why thou have betrayed,
And destroyed all that hath been made;
By our hands and dying skin,
Why then all this sin?"

Reply was always sought with difficulty,
But the major said with ease,
That his loyalty hath ne'er begun to cease;
His family was in the bunker.

"For many a year did I suspect,
Betrayal from kith and kin,
That they hath spied all the while;
And hath kept me quiet with all their guile."

"But i loved my country so,
Loved them too and it was a terrible blow;
But where evil and hatred grow,
How could i allow mercy to flow?"

There were many a fight,
But none as wrathful as the one,
Which tore apart all love and ties;
For a land that of hunger dies.
