something we share

We're all just average Joes and Janes
with our own problems
trying to figure them out
and find a way to solve them
I know some times it feels like this life isnt worth it
but it is,You just have to find a purpose
with which to live and then serve it
trust me we're all in the same boat
sometimes you got to face the storm
and fight to stay afloat
we all have demons that we must wrestle to the ground
and for some of us, some of them will never stay down
wether its a voice inside the back of your head
that tells you your worthless and better off dead
or an emotion that forms inside of your mouth
and when you try to describe it
the words just won't come out
It could be a secret you're struggling to hide
or the confusion you let build up inside
maybe it's the lack of self confidence
or low self esteem
or it could be a reacurring nightmare
you have when you dream
it could even be addiction that your struggling with
or the nervousness of your first kiss
maybe you're a cutter and you cover up your wrists
maybe your stuck in a fucked up relationship
maybe you were raised in an abusive household
maybe you lost some one and can't seem to let go
maybe its side effects of your medication
maybe its the beating you took for your dedication
maybe you have a crush
and your to scared to share it
maybe you were touched
by one of your parents

what ever it is, its inside all of us
its something we share, yet it seperates us

sometimes theres no sleight of hand that can help
we all have to learn how to deal with
the cards that we were dealt
we all have to learn to fall before we learn to fly
we all have to learn to live before our time to die
