"I hate mirrors". A girl suffering from body dysmorphic disorder.
I know I'm ugly,
I know it.
My mother says otherwise,
but I can tell she's lying through her teeth.
I know what those whispers are about.
Why I've never had a boyfriend.
Mirrors are my worst enemies.
Honest and truthful,
unable to lie,
it looks at me in disgust.
I cover my bedroom mirror with a blanket.
My pillows are always wet.
I keep my head bowed,
never look at anyone directly.
dirty.
look at her hair,
fucking dirty.

I never look at my wrists.
Memories too awful, too sad.
Scars,
old and fresh.
I used to dream stupid dreams.
Dreams of something better.
I don't do that anymore.
