Take a mirror and look inside, I have shown, What you try to hide!
I hide my face behind a thousand masks
Hoping that each one can erase the last,
Never knowing, always hoping
That I could find you, oh yes I could find you,

I hide my face behind a thousand masks
Hoping you will never find who I really am
Always hoping, never knowing
That you couldn’t see the side I tried to hide
The side that’s hidden deep in my mind

And with the setting of the sun
I burn another one as it is done
Each mask that serves its purpose
Always hoping that I could find you, oh that I could find you

I hide my face behind a thousand masks
Hoping you would never find who I really am
Always hoping, never knowing
That you could see the side I tried to hide
The side that’s hidden deep in my mind

Even as I try to hide from myself
I have realized there’s nothing left
All I’v found that I have come to gain
Turns out that the devil has the same
I have lost my soul indeed I have lost my soul to the sea

Always sailing, always searching for the one I lost
Never finding, always dying searching for the cost
I have lost everything, I have lost my mind
So what do I have left but the mask I find

I hide my face behind a thousand masks
Hoping that each one can erase the last,
Never knowing, always hoping
That I could find you, oh yes I could find you.
