What have we done but rape the world and yet here we stand in shock as she begins with us!
As I walk along deserted streets I come to a realization
All life is gone, no chance for rehabilitation
All we once knew is lost forever to the stars
A creation of destruction of which we all had a part

Chance after chance given from divine power
Chance taken and thrown away in our darkest hour
Certain that our minds hold the best path
Now we must feed our lonely souls to the world's wrath

Our blood, death has tasted and found just as sweet
As our bodies now litter the earth no longer filled with greed
Cast aside like forgotten memories of yesteryear
Pushed to the edge of existence like our greatest fear

Now fire starts a most wild and yet reviving course
Erasing dispicable deeds upon this earth we did force
And as the fire burns we slowly and methodically turn to ash
Releasing all signs and postmarks of our sordid past

I alone am left to walk lonely streets and always wonder what went wrong
And even as I walk I hear and understand the earth has a brand new song
Life will arise from this pile of rubble and venom we called a home
The only thing left behind of this world will be one lonely unmarked tomb!
