a poem about being unloved
Unrequited love gets pretty old.
Never feeling worthwhile
Is wearing on the soul.
Being the girl no one loves
Is a tough cross to bear.

When I met you,
I thought things changed.
You said you liked me,
And eventually I liked you.

But I was left feeling
Like a piece in a game.
You made me feel used.
As if I wanted you,
But you never wanted me.

Now I’m left feeling more broke
Then I ever did before.
I guess things never change.
I’m the girl nobody loves.
