This poem is about love...maybe a little bit different kind of love...but still love.
With you, I should be different.
I should stop being scared
And just take the plunge.
I should say how I feel,
But I’ll love you my way.

Stealing kisses in the dark,
Holding your hand under tables,
Laying my head on your lap
And staring into the eyes that I love,
Trying to make your constant smile
Go all the way to your eyes.
I’ll love you my way.

Somehow you don’t know
You think we’re just friends.
You don’t know how I ache
When I’m not near you.
One more night we spend together
Just holding each other as we sleep.
Never let go. Please never let go.

I don’t believe in forever.
I don’t believe in soul mates,
But with you I want forever.
I can live with holding your hand
And never holding your heart.
As long as I can hold it forever.
