Our porch is a favored birthing place in Spring.
Our porch is a favorite nesting place for our feathered friends

When early Spring comes
Sparrow nests are carefully made
With moss, twigs, and mud

Momma sits and waits
To hatch her small, thriving brood
Three wide mouths to feed

She'll quickly return
Efficiently putting worms
Down each fuzzy throat
