A poem about surviving an abusive relationship. REVISED.
BABY, WHY DID YOU GO?

Baby, why did you go?
It really was quite a blow.
We had so much fun,
especially, when you had the gun!

Baby, why did you go?
I didn't even know.
We had a blast,
I thought it would last.

Baby, why did you go?
Its okay you left me in the snow.
I needed to grow.
Now, I take it slow.

Baby, why did you go?
Even if I have no dough,
I will be fine.
Now, I have a spine.
