My first try with the "Ritual" Poetry form
RIDING RITUAL POEM
December 27, 2008

Bow down to get your tack lying loyally at your feet
Rise up with saddle, pad, and bit
Wrap warmly, snugly, safely around the barrel of your steed
Mount with balance, lift leg with ease, settle quietly into seat
Ride with a joyous heart in rhythm and in peace
