My dead father speaks for a second or two.
               
Uncle Paul's voice telephonic
plays the rare genuine trick on time.
Years string along the line sitting sentry
and hero hard
assured of relief to widen the rift-
when despite the guard, to spite the guard
Father, from inside the box
a timely gift.

Your voice drawls seventy-ish as it should.
" I love you honey; now you be good.".
