We do forget..
There is nothing like the electricity causing hair on your neck and arms to stand on end, the anticipation of the next bolt of lightning leaving you aware, alert.. wanting something.. yearning.. yet not knowing for what.. The power of these storms is amazing, deadly.. We forget, become careless..

As a child, I used to sit by my window, watching the summer storms, counting between the lightning and the thunder.. My imagination caught up in it all.. For a time, it seems I forgot.. To busy to feel it, let it inspire.. I have to stop and remind myself.. there's more.. breath, count between the light and the boom.. Let it just be..
