A Poem wrote for husband
As the days grow longer with summer soon to start,
A love once there seems to be slowly falling apart.
I want to love you and hold you tight,
I want to promise we'll be alright.
But my heart and mind are haunted by the past,
Memories I hope won't forever last.
They're keeping me from going on and loving you,
In a way a wife should want to to do.
You mean more to me then you will ever know,
Though I know that part I don't often show.
Trying to forget so we can move on,
A challenge I have yet won.
But I won't give up on you - on us,
Cause to live life without you would be too much.
I love you with all my heart and always will,
I just need to know that you love me still.
