Love takes a dark turn
Together we sit in the garden
The moonlight glistens off your hair
Little guilt I feel, no pardon
I asked if you love me, do you care

Your silence continues endlessly
I’ve no choice but to guess
I remember our first meeting
Your laughter, my palms sweat

Long have I adored you
Always from afar
Your radiance still shining
Just like a midnight star

I look at the ground around us
Your blood mingles with mine
Surprise and resignation on your face
My bloody valentine

Ours is a love for Shakespeare
Doomed from the very start
For within my true loves locket
I placed a piece of her still beating heart
