Her nose in a book
His eyes on her face
She looks up,
Meets his gaze and then . . .
A ring
a dress
a tux
a church
dancing
love
A house
a swing
laughter
love
time
years
peace
rest
and love
Then she quickly looks away
and wonders
What if?
Then. . .
She dropped her book
and took his hand.
