Music, dancing, drinks, and royalty what a way to spend a summer night.
Somewhere in the distance
Laughter floats along the breeze
Down the hill in the valley
You’ll find the whole summer court

Beautiful, straight-laced, and graceful is the Queen
Smiling and laughing is the warrior King
The roguish Prince is dancing round
Showing off his mortal bride

Tables with chairs spread a mile ling
Ale and wine flowing like twin rivers
Exotic dresses and rich tunics everywhere
With glistening gold, silver, and jewels

Should an uninvited mortal happen upon the ball
If proven their worth they may partake of the fun
But if not who knows when they will be found
Just for interrupting their nightly summer ball
