A rhythmic story of a husband and wife, whose diverging paths define their values
  Contrast Of Color

  The sixty hour plan.
  For a fifty year span.
  Not enough time today!
  Another hair turns gray...

  Run to hurry and wheeze.
  Riding on a material breeze!
  The kids learn to skate.
  "I'm gonna be late."

  Hurry scurry, life's a fuss.
  "I'm only thinking of us ! "
Just a few more back breaking years...
He wasn't around to see her tears.

No time for tea and talk,
  or a quiet lovers' walk.
No stopping to smell the roses,
  or other sentimental poses.

  Always chasing bigger and better.
She slipped away, and he let her.
  Last year she married Ben.
Now her boys grow to men.

  He hasn't very much money.
  But never fails his 'Honey'!
  Always' something kind to say,
won't let anyone pay his stay.

The boys stop by now and then,
they love to fish with Ben.
"Sid, tried again to reach his dad."
"You know, the kid's still pretty mad."

"Tried to reach him on the phone."
"But you know dad, He's never home."
"Kids are coming to Sunday dinner."
  "Great! Jimmy's bride's a winner!!"

"Yep, she's just like you dear."
  She smiles through a tear.
Wonders, if it's a girl or boy?
She never ever felt such joy!

  Sid called Monday.
  "His heart they say."
"No... Alone... At the office... Sunday night."
"No... Sid said.. No, he won't go to the site."
